Hello.. today brought to you a pillow case model of crochet. Looks great to decorate your living room and also give as a gift.
It was crafted in a pattern of 5 different colors.
The back is made of half-double crochet rounds to create a more solid tissue. The two sides are joined together using a single crochet stitch around the outer edge and 1 14 inch round, to insert pillow or cushion is placed inside as you are closing the pillow.
You can use the color you prefer ... What match your decor or furniture.
MATERIALS:
Medium weight yarn in desired colors, sample made with Red Heart With Love in Iced Aqua, Papaya, Minty, White and Daffodil

STEP ONE:
Begin by making the pillow top
Special stitches
Cluster Stitch: hdc3tog- (yo, insert in stitch, pull up yarn) 3 times, yo, pull through all 7 loops
Beginning Cluster Stitch: ch 2, hdc2tog- ch 2, (yo, insert in stitch, pull up yarn) 2 times, yo, pull through all 5 loops
Round 1: With first color begin with magic ring, in mr ch1, 8 sc, slip stitch to first sc to join (8 sc)
Round 2: ch 3 (counts as first hdc, ch 1), [hdc, ch 1] in each stitch around, join to second ch of beginning ch 3, finish off, cut yarn (8 hdc, 8 ch spaces)
Round 3: with new color work beginning cluster in one ch space, ch 2, [cluster, ch 2] in each space around, join to beginning cluster, finish off, cut yarn (8 clusters, 8 ch spaces)
Round 4: with new color work beginning cluster in one ch space, [ch 2,cluster, ch 2] in same space, [cluster, ch 2, cluster, ch 2] in each space around, join to beginning cluster, finish off, cut yarn (16 clusters, 16 ch spaces)
Round 5: with new color work beginning cluster in one ch space, ch 2, [(cluster, ch 2, cluster, ch 2) in next space, (cluster, ch 2) in next] repeat around, join to beginning cluster, finish off, cut yarn (24 clusters, 24 ch spaces)
Round 6: with new color work beginning cluster in first ch space, ch 1, [(cluster, ch 1, cluster, ch 1) in next space, (cluster, ch 1) in next 2 spaces] repeat around, join to beginning cluster, finish off, cut yarn (32 clusters, 32 ch spaces)
Round 7: with new color work beginning cluster in first ch space, ch 1, [(cluster, ch 1, cluster, ch 1) in next space, (cluster, ch 1) in next 3 spaces] repeat around, join to beginning cluster, finish off, cut yarn (40 clusters, 40 ch spaces)
Round 8: with new color work beginning cluster in first ch space, ch 1, [(cluster, ch 1, cluster, ch 1) in next space, (cluster, ch 1) in next 4 spaces] repeat around, join to beginning cluster, finish off, cut yarn (48 clusters, 48 ch spaces)

STEP TWO
Make the back of the pillow
With white (or desired color) start with magic ring
beginning ch 2 does not count as a stich
Round 1: in mr, ch 2, 8 hdc, join to first hdc (8hdc)
Round 2: ch 2, 2 hdc in each stitch, join to first hdc (16 hdc)
Round 3: ch 2, [2 hdc in first stitch, 1 hdc in next] repeat around, join to first hdc (24 hdc)
Round 4: ch 2, [2 hdc in first stitch, 1 hdc in next 2 stitches] repeat around, join to first hdc (32 hdc)
Round 5: ch 2, [2 hdc in first stitch, 1 hdc in next 3 stitches] repeat around, join to first hdc (40 hdc)
Round 6: ch 2, [2 hdc in first stitch, 1 hdc in next 4 stitches] repeat around, join to first hdc (48 hdc)
Round 7: ch 2, [2 hdc in first stitch, 1 hdc in next 5 stitches] repeat around, join to first hdc (56 hdc)

Round 15: ch 2, [2 hdc in first stitch, 1 hdc in next 13 stitches] repeat around, join to first hdc, finish off, cut yarn (120 hdc)
STEP THREE
Holding the back and the front wrong sides together single crochet around the edge working 1 single crochet in each stitch through both layers. When you are about halfway around insert the pillow form and continue crocheting around the edge until you are all the way around. Join to the first single crochet, finish off and cut yarn. Weave in ends.
